University College Absalon (University College Absalon) is the regional university college in the region of Zealand offering 11 bachelor degree programs. University College Absalon has 8.500 full-time and 2.500 part-time students as well as 650 employees located at seven campuses across the region.

Student services

University College Absalon offers in-service training and further education with several thousand students as well as international diplomas and degrees. The Regional Centre for Educational Services Zealand is part of the organisation.

Housing services

Before arriving in Denmark, you should arrange accommodation. Be aware that renting a room in any of our campus cities will often cost between 3000 - 4500 DKK per month. Find your campus to know what types of accommodation are available to you.

The Municipality of Kalundborg offers a 3 month accomodation guarantee called "roof-over-your-head guarantee", when moving to Kalundborg to study at University College Absalon. 

University College Absalon does not provide accommodation in Nykøbing Falster. Students can contact the local housing association, Domea, which has rental apartments in town.

Library services

There are libraries at all University College Absalon campuses. Our libraries contain specialist literature on subjects such as social science, health and nutrition, gastronomy, ergonomics, nursing, sciences, medicine and education.

ICT services

The University College Absalon IT department is based in Sorø, but IT staff is present at all campuses every week. The IT department is responsible for University College Absalon’s digital infrastructure and is involved in the technological development of University College Absalon in terms of both administration and teaching.

Campus life

University College Absalon’s newest Campus Roskilde provides some of the most innovative educational facilities in Denmark. Our other campuses, Kalundborg, Sorø, Slagelse, Næstved, Vordingborg and Nykøbing F., are a mixture of new buildings with state-of-art educational equipment and historic buildings with charm and atmosphere from generations of scholars. All campuses combine opportunities for interdisciplinary studies, e-learning, group work and lectures by national and international scholars.
