Created/Established in 1991, Sciences Po Lille is a public and highly selective « Grande Ecole », sharing the same title as the 9 other Sciences Po institutions across the country. Since 2007, Sciences Po Lille has developed a democratisation program (IEP), which now involves 800 students from middle-school and high-school (college and lycee) from more than 110 institutions.
Known for the diversity of its teaching staff and the valuable professional insertion of its graduates, Sciences Po Lille offers a study program which combines the valuation of curiosity and critical thinking which further progresses to the specialization to broader categories of careers. Sciences Po Lille’s offer of international and pluridisciplinary majors enable students to construct their careers in academic excellence and their professional experience prospects. Agreements with renowned international universities and leading business schools are under the process of development.
Sciences Po Lille is renowned for its desirable 5 year program towards a Masters degree, the quality of its teaching and for the professional success of its students. The IEP also has the scientific influence of its researcher professors, whose job it is to combine the transmission of knowledge and knowledge production.
Sciences Po Lille considers research to be a very valuable instrument to the openness of the city and its societal environment. Various activities are regularly carried out in order for its students to meet and talk to researchers and professionals from diverse business sectors for the particular degrees Sciences Po Lille has to offer.
Sciences Po Lille also prepares its students for leadership and managerial positions of companies as well as careers in education and research. The work placement is essential to the enrichment and reinforcement of the student’s skills they have acquired during their studies. Concerned with respecting the important values of higher-education public service, Sciences Po Lille guides its students’ pathways by promoting a policy for ambitious student life. This is particularly in regards to financial aid for student mobility in their 3rd year.
The International Office conducts surveys at the end of each semester with the incoming students to collect their feedbacks about the integration at Sciences Po Lille and more generally in Lille and France. On the other hand our outgoing students are asked to participate to a survey when they are back from mobility to help us to present the partnerships and to promote our agreements among the students who are about to select the mobility’s destination.
Both surveys are used to improve the quality of our Erasmus + program’s management aiming to react to any kind of evolutions or information permitting students, professors and staffs to enjoy their time in exchange.
